Workers comp service center online

DENVER — Colorado Compensation Insurance, the state’s largest carrier of workers’ compensation, has opened an Online Service Center.

Rob Norris, vice president of information services, says the service center will help policyholders keep costs down. “Our experience shows that the earlier an injury is reported, the less the claim costs,” he says.

Employers only need company names and policies to file claims. After following prompts on the Web site, employers can print out injury reports and confirmation numbers. Policyholders can also call (800) 873-7242 or (303) 782-4000 to report claims.

For information, see CCIA’s Web site at www.colocomp.com.
