Site offers parents guidelines for letting children onto Web

A new one online guide, “InternetPGParental Guidance Suggested,” has been designed especially for the parents of children who use the Internet.

Chapters include e-mail, filtering software, education, “Parent’s

Guide to the Internet,” HTML design and more.

The Web site, found at www.angelfire.com/nc2/LWSPublishing, functions as a stand-alone site but also links to hundreds of outside sites.

The guide can be used by anyone from beginner to expert because of the many different topics covered. It even includes a detailed class on designing, creating and hosting your own Web site. The entire guide also can be downloaded from the site.
