Survey reveals non-profit benefits, practices

Abbott, Langer & Associates has published the fourth edition of a survey entitled, “Fringe Benefits and Working Conditions in Non-profit Organizations.”

The 819-page report contains information from 1,438 non-profit organizations on various topics including working hours, flextime, overtime, fringe benefits for part-time employees, holidays, vacation, insurance, retirement and educational assistance practices. Information for 62 types of non-profit organizations is provided. Types range from advocacy/consumer organizations through professional societies and trade associations to youth organizations. Organizations are also categorized according to geographic region, annual budget, number of employees and the geographic scope of the organization.
