Conference, tech fair feature Matthews

BOULDER — Jana Matthews, director of learning programs for the Kauffman Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, and several other local technology leaders will be featured at the Boulder Technology Incubator’s Fall Conference and Technology Fair Nov. 11.

This year’s technology fair will run from 4:30 to 9 p.m. at the U S West Advanced Technology facility, 4001 Discovery Drive in Boulder. Exhibits, networking and cocktails and appetizers begin at 4:30 p.m.

Matthews, an expert in grooming entrepreneurs, has helped design and develop incubators, research parks and strategies to facilitate entrepreneurship in the United States, Australia, Hong Kong and Europe.

Other panelists featured at the event include Dan Lankford, chief executive of Boulder Technologies Corp.; Terry Gold, chief executive and cofounder of Gold Systems; George Heinrichs, president and chief executive of SCC; and Rick Patch, partner of Sequel Venture Partners and founding member of Micro Decisionware.

The Boulder County Business Report and The Northern Colorado Business Report are media sponsors of the event. Other sponsors include The Bank in Boulder, Holland & Hart, PricewaterhouseCoopers, U S West, Pip Printing and Lefthand Brewery.

Registration before Nov. 1 is $95 per person and after that date is $120 per person; students may buy tickets for $35.
