Boulder neighborhoods can receive discount for RTD’s Eco Pass 2000

BOULDER-The city of Boulder is offering a Neighborhood Eco Pass 2000 discount to newly registered neighborhoods in hopes of bolstering participation.

The Eco Pass will provide neighborhood residents with unlimited access to RTD bus service to Denver, Denver International Airport and Eldora Mountain Resort. The pass will also provide residents with access to local bus routes such as the HOP and SKIP.

The Eco Pass includes access to the JUMP, LEAP and BOUND, transit services in Boulder slated to arrive in the fall of 2000.

The cost of a Neighborhood Eco Pass is $50-$100 per household per year. The discount will slice that price by half, making the cost $25-$50 per household.

The cost of the Neighborhood Eco Pass 2000 is based on the number of households in a neighborhood.

The city of Boulder said more than 2,000 neighbors have already taken advantage of the program.
