CallConnect site helps consumer find correct health-care provider

BOULDER — CallConnect Communications has launched its new Web site www.1-800-DOCTORS.com that helps consumers find “the right provider the first time.” The site guides the consumer through an interactive presentation of nearly half a million health-care providers — dentists, physicians, chiropractors and mental-health practitioners.

The site provides information after the user enters the specialty of the health-care provider and their home or work zip code. With 16 years in the health-care industry, CallConnect’s new site saves the user time and money.

“This site is 100 percent free to the consumer,´ said Susan Ratel, director of marketing communications said in a press release. “Benefit number one is the detailed information about health care providers of all specialties.”

Ratel said the CallConnect staff can walk the user through the site either on-line or by calling 1-800-DOCTORS. She said that the number of health care Web site’s is 16,000 and growing, and only 1-800-DOCTORS.com aids the user wade through the wealth of information.

CallConnect has operated the phone service since 1983 and the local Internet service since Nov. 98. The Web site is now capable of providing nationwide health care information.

“The site will continue to evolve in functionality, look and user friendliness,” Ratel said.
