Two new multifamily projects proposed for Fort Collins

FORT COLLINS — Two new multifamily residential projects that could bring 200 more units onto the market are up for concept review with the Fort Collins Planning and Zoning Board Thursday morning.

The larger of the two projects is a potential seven-building, 180-unit development on a nine-acre portion of the Timberline Church property at 2908 S. Timberline Road. The units would range from one to three bedrooms.

The buildings would be situated south and east of Timberline Church along an existing drive at the edge of the church parking lot. This drive would be extended to allow access to the property from South Timberline Road.

The land for the proposed development was deeded to the church by the city of Fort Collins in 2001, according to property records. Omaha-based Tetrad Property Group LLC is developing the project. Denver-based Norris Design is listed as the planner.

Also up for concept review Thursday is a proposed 20-unit multifamily project at 1039 W. Horsetooth Road that would be developed on the last remaining pad of the Poudre Valley Plaza PUD. The development would consist of 16 one-bedroom units and four two-bedroom units in one two-story building.

The only listed contractor for the project is the Fort Collins architecture firm alm2s.
