Optometry business to open Loveland location Thursday

LOVELAND — Edge Optics, a locally owned, family-operated eye-care practice, will open its second location at 602 N. Cleveland Ave. in Loveland and see patients there beginning Thursday.

The company opened its first location at 121 Laporte Ave. in Old Town Fort Collins in 2013.

The optometry practice includes comprehensive eye exams, an array of eyeglasses, contact lens fittings and specialty treatments.

“Opening our Loveland location is incredibly exciting for us — not just because we’re growing, but because it allows us to expand our impact,” Mindy Bryant, CEO of Edge Optics, said in a prepared statement. “This is very important to me as a fifth-generation Colorado native.

“We believe everyone deserves to see clearly and have the coolest gear for getting outdoors and experiencing the Colorado lifestyle, in a super cool space.”

Edge Optics has partnered with local organizations to provide more than 1,000 free eye exams and pairs of glasses to unhoused and underserved individuals in Northern Colorado.

The first 85 patients at the new Loveland location will receive gifts from local businesses.
